Notch sets out to combine deep house and electro on this two track EP. Kicking off with deep, reverberating bass and a punchy groove, Believe In Love then hits with a beautifully haunting female vocal sample before breaking into a slamming stab pattern and melodic synth arpeggios and soaring pads - a dancefloor filler in the best Toucan tradition. Broken Record is a glitchier, more experimental track combining old skool sounds with crisp tribal house beats, dark, wobbly bass and turntable style effects.
