Dechayos is the second emanation of Natalia Z. and is devoted to slow dark techno, ritual, cinematic and tribal industrial. The name Dechayos is a fusion of 'decay' and 'chaos'.
This is a re-release of an album I made in November of 2015. It comes with a new cover and an additional title track (A Dark Holiday) which features violins and compression to the point of noise. This album is best described as relatively slow, dark experimental techno with familiar holiday melodies on some songs used in an ominous way.
The goal was to emphasis the inherent darkness found in some holiday melodies. In a way it is a retaliation to the consumer culture built up around Thanksgiving Day and the 'Holy Days' and represents an awareness of the genocide associated with the holiday and of the cycle of death associated with the colder seasons. So in more ways than one it is 'A Dark Holdiay'.
